African History has come a long way from a “single story” perspective to a balance of stories (Adichie). This website makes a contribution to the diverse and fascinating History of African societies with a special emphasis on the highly-textured History of West Africa and Ghana. It deals largely with the work of a scholar-documentary-style photographer who wants to tell the story of Africa.
